The godbit.com web site states “The term “copyright” refers to a bundle of property rights granted by law to the creators of “original works”. The property rights arise immediately, when the original work is “fixed in a tangible form of expression”. In other words, the copyright is created when you save it on your hard drive, not when you post it.
So, when you originate that great story/article/song/play/blog post/movie script, and you write/design/draw/photograph/illustrate/record/compose it on your pad of paper/notebook/Moleskine/computer/PDA, a copyright is born.”

Search engines can read text in Flash but only form field text, not text that is vector or raster. Flash cannot create HTML, so it is hard to consolidate such headers and tags so necesary for the SEO.
Some of the “patches” that we can use are:
- use Flash as an add-on effect to an already functional site or at least have a standard link menu at the bottom of the page and a static site map page.
- Creating a “separation” between content and the presentation. The use of the javascript called “SWFObject” helps search engine to ignore the Flash object and index its description introduced as normal text.
You can find a detailed explanation about hot to work with this script at deconcept.
Everybody know about the importance of relevant content for the SEs. We’ve been hearing for ages how the ALT attribute not only specifies text which is to be rendered when the image to which it is applied cannot be rendered but also provide quality relevant content. It is important also to consider the TITLE tags that has similar advantages like the ALT tag.
“Think of title tags as the image equivalent of a link’s “anchor text”. When the image is linked, it tells the search engines the same thing link would. This is compared to using the “alt” tags, which just describes the image,” Brad Fallon writes in his blog.
This is an example about its sintax:
About an experience with title tags in images and shows an amazing result. Check this out at B.Fallon’s blog
The NOODP Meta Tag was first consider by MSN in May 2006, but now Google supports this metatag as well.
Basically NOODP will not display both the description and the title from the ODP in the Google search results with the implementation of this tag. For those who dont know what ODP is, the Open Directory is a directory where normal people act as editors and are responsible for listing sites for free. Between its benefits is a high PR backlink and traffic too.
The syntax for this metatag is:
- Excluding MSN only
- Excluding Google use

In this article written by Frederick Townes for isedb.com, the emphasis is in semantics and how to make websites machine readable. Semantics allow search engines to scroll and index content with an accurated specificity.
Semantics are established by rules or conventions. As languages, Internet uses its onw semantics’ rules. Using proper semantics, SEs are able to identify relationships between various chunks of site text, and from a site skin POV, semantics better equip visitors to more easily identify these relationships, whether via browser or as human eyeballs reading the screen.
That is why for designers is important to be W3C-oriented. “Semantics should be viewed as a set of guidelines to help programmers, designers, software developers and others to use the W3C-compliant tools and protocols properly. Indeed, because the task of connecting web users to specific information is shifting from search engines to site developers, all that remains is for semantics tools to be used properly” Frederick Townes says.

b-Title Tag: The title should be between 10 and 50 characters and include one or more keywords while still being descriptive.

the following link is handy for those who are not interested in installing scripts or dealing with Phyton sentences when it is time for a google-friendly sitemap. XML-Sitemaps.com provides free sitemaps for websites with less than 500 pages, and allows you to create a Text sitemap to submit to Yahoo.
Of course the only service provided is the sitemap itself, which it has to be submitted to SEs (Google Sitemap’s Link.)
